Founded in 2011. Built on experience.

Real Realty, Inc. was founded in 2011 as a small family company on the values of integrity, commitment, and the pursuit of excellence. Leveraging owner Alen Redzic’s 17+ years of experience in operations, management, sales, and construction, we quickly grew to more than 2,000 units throughout Chicagoland. Recently, the acquisition of a local competitor has allowed our team to provide best-in-class association management services. In addition, over the past three years, Redzic also started to actively promote and expand the sales services alongside a team of established realtors. We are proud of the business we created and will only work harder to make it better for all our clients, colleagues, and employees.

Alen Redzic
Owner / Co-Founder

Alen Redzic is the owner of Real Realty and has had a very distinguished career as a real estate professional in all facets of operations, management, sales, and construction. For the past 17 years, Redzic has directly overseen the maintenance and management of more than 6,000 units and 200 individual properties throughout the Chicago market. Exceptionally versed in every aspect of the property management business, he provides decades of hands-on experience in every aspect of the industry that very few can match. Most importantly, he has established a boutique approach to the operations of Real Realty that provides immediate benefit from the single-asset, first-time property owner to a regional family office.

Redzic is an active member of several Chicago real estate organizations. He is a licensed managing broker in Illinois and received the property management certificate of training from the Community Investment Corporation. His education was in the field of property maintenance and construction.

Tea Brasnjic
Owner / Co-Founder

Tea Brasnjic is the co-owner of Real Realty with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She has been instrumental in ensuring that all aspects of daily operations, financial reporting, and client relations are maintained at the highest industry standard. Since inception, Tea has overseen every aspect of the internal operations with a particular focus on compliance and meeting all the documentation and reporting requirements for each client and the company. What she is most proud of is her commitment to always provide the highest level of service and assistance with client first approach. She leads her team with expertise and professionalism and has created an onboarding protocol to ensure that every new client or property is evaluated and seamlessly assigned to the right company representative to handle property needs and all the documentation is organized and accurate. This has established a unique competitive advantage, particularly for customers transitioning from other management companies.

Tea’s meticulous attention to detail and guidelines has helped Real to expand and grow while maintaining the same level of responsiveness. At Real Realty, all customers can expect the same high level of response and service for the entire lifecycle of their investment regardless of building size or tenure. That consistent reliability and capability is what Real is known for among property owners, vendors, subsidy organizations, and lenders through the Chicago market.

Tea’s dedication to a detailed system of response has been particularly meaningful with the condo association business Real acquired. Association management requires the ability to not only oversee traditional management responsibilities, but also meet the expectations of all past and present constituents in a timely and cost-effective manner. Tea has been the primary point of contact for all correspondence with association clients and is always informative and ready to assist with daily operations of the property. She has also developed a communication format that is clear, concise, and easy to understand, which is highly appreciated by many board members that are not real estate professionals. The ability to present a coherent update and logical plan to handle association needs has been instrumental in helping Real grow that business and consistently expand the association management footprint through the Chicago market.

Mrs. Brasnjic is a very active member of the Chicago real estate community, with an extensive list of designations and achievements. She is a State of Illinois licensed Managing Broker and a licensed Community Association Manager. Her education was in the field of accounting and finance.

James Clough
Managing Director

Mr. James Clough is a real estate industry veteran with over 25 years of experience at multifamily and commercial property brokerage firms. From a young age, James developed a deep passion for real estate and the opportunity to help investors excel. After completing a degree in real estate, Mr. Clough started his career at the leading national real estate brokerage firm of Marcus & Millichap. Quickly developing a keen sense for growth areas in the Chicago market, he was rapidly promoted multiple times and was able to have a substantial book of business as a Vice-President of Investment Sales. After being personally involved in over $300M of transactions, Mr. Clough wanted to transition into a leadership role to utilize his skills to mentor and inspire teams of junior agents.

Mr. Clough successfully held senior management positions at Interra Realty and Triad Real Estate Partners, two of the most prominent brokerage firms in the Chicago market. As a managing director, he was instrumental in growing the size of the brokerage staff, training agents, and expanding the reach of both brands regionally.

The oversight of junior members of each firm did not have an impact on his ability to be a respected top producer in the market. Mr. Clough has personally overseen over $550M in real estate transactions throughout the Midwest with a diverse pool of clients which include first time buyers, seasoned individual investors, regional investment firms, private equity firms, family offices, and foreign national buyers. His expertise in analytics, financial modeling, and trend analysis makes him an invaluable resource for buyers and sellers to identify short-term and long-term investment strategies.

Mr. Clough recently transitioned from a purely investment sales role to a more comprehensive c-level position at Real Realty, Inc. that includes the responsibility to grow the property management, leasing, and construction divisions of the full-service real estate company.

Mr. Clough is an active member of several real estate focused organizations including the Chicago Apartment Association (CAA), the Real Estate Investment Association (REIA), and is a member of the Preservation and Development Sub-Committee for the Wicker Park Committee. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate. Mr. Clough’s academic achievements include a Bachelor of Business degree in Real Estate & Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.

Personal interests for Mr. Clough include golf, participating in triathlons, and spending time with his two daughters.
